using film that expired six years ago might have contributed to the lameness of my first roll with the manual.  i just got my pictures back from roll two!  with new film!  they're not that great, but better.  here's one of my favorites:more practice would help, but with camera batteries, film & developing, this is way too expensive of a process to happen too often :(

and of course, happpppy 4th!  i hope you have plans to go see some yanhua, what an article on nj.com has told me is the chinese word for fireworks, or "smoke flowers."  in some indian and pakistani languages, it's pataka.  :)
