sour to the lick

first things first, i'll eat your brains.

we all know there is too much waste, one of the kinds that is creepin up is the electronic kind. so what i think is cute is making garbage circuit boards into pic-cha frames! this is not a plug for terracycle.

for the first time in 456 years? who cares. lunar eclipses are beautiful whether or not they sync up with the 'winter solstice.' and we are all gonna see a bunch more in our lifetimes dudes. luckily.

i guess this is the part where i say, "merry christmas!" cause when in rome, do as the romans do. speaking of roman catholics, they really make ya feel like a sinner by default. i've been to a sermon in germany (scary), one in maryland (dope), and as of today nj (lame). it's all about the priest for me, and the morbidly obese one (isn't gluttony a major sin?) at evening mass ended up introducing the game of where's waldo to transition into how christ is hidden everywhere. oh. also, "christ is not just a slice of the pizza pie, christ is the cheese covering everything." this really made me think, about how hungry i was. i ended up in the front row with krystel and her dad. for wishing i could turn around to see if others thought cheesy christ was lol, mercy on my soul.

i was an esl kid. i'm such a former esl kid.

peace to you / pound it !

perfection on a large scale is easily forgettable, imperfection up close is engagingly memorable.

the koto is an entrancing instrument to watch played live. extra special bonus serene sensuousness with flute accompaniment.

"Hatsuhana prays"
Kuniyoshi

Fervent lovers and austere scholars
Both love, in their mature season,
The powerful gentle cats, pride of the house,
Which like them are sensitive to the cold and sedentary.

Friends of science and ecstasy,
They search for silence and the horror of darkness;
Erebus would have taken them for his funeral steeds,
If they could bend their pride to slavery.

While dreaming they take the noble attitudes
Of great Sphinxes stretched out in the heart of the desert,
Which seem to sleep in an endless revery;

Their fecund loins are full of magic sparks,
And specks of gold, like fine sand,
Add vague stars to their mystical eyeballs.

"CATS"
Charles Baudelaire

"Do you come from deep heaven or do you come from hell,
O Beauty? Your eyes, infernal and divine,
O Beauty! huge, terrifying, artless monster!
What difference, if you make -
The universe less hideous and time less heavy?"

preoccupation with mortality

can a girl be in love with a boot?
yes, yes she can. why am i posting this/willingly admitting i can be made happy by a material item?? i must be slizzard.

while i should be more than content with the local apple selection this time of year, all i really ever want is a jazz apple. but, like bret and jermaine, they're from new zealand.

pale blonde hair turns white instead of grey. awesome. especially when it's a long flowing mane. for reasons, a lot of women believe as they age, they need to get these short haircuts. this very nice lady with an ivory luscious headpiece gave me an Egon Schiele book today. it is truly great. while that dude's name makes me think of dark naked twisty bodies, the one i want to share is of sunflowers (dying, of course, lol).

i have van gogh's up on my wall -

and we've all seen this one.... -

Vincent went and inspired another favorite of mine, Klimt -

and then Egon was totally feelin' Gustav -

^ quality & colors are off :( , but...

"For all three artists, the sun and its earthly counterpart, the sunflower, were embodiments of the life force. Nonetheless, unlike the sun, the sunflower is mortal, and for Schiele it was tinged with the indelible mark of imminent decay. Flowering in the last warm days between summer and autumn, the sunflower blooms to die and bequeath the world its seeds. That Schiele's sunflowers are past their peak bloom is amply evidenced by their darkened centers and droopy leaves. This was the ideal motif for an artists who had coined the maxim, 'Everything is living dead.' " ~ Jane Kallir

country squire, this is my all the girls are on me swag

ever sat your bottom in an old station wagon? the kind where the plush velvety seat (that stretches the width of the car) evokes a grooooooovvy 70's living room type vibe while you're driving? it's awesome. the last time i did, excluding recently, has got to have been when i was a little kid, sitting up front in between my grandparents. i remember not being tall enough to see anything in front of us, only sky, the tops of high things and best of all, bridges.

for all the spicy food lovers:

1) obtain some of your favorite flavor hot pepper (i mixed mostly thai & a few jalapeno)
2) chop 'em up
3) dice a lil garlic
4) soap n' rinse n' dry a glass jar with screw top lid
5) add extra virgin olive oil plus your peppers and garlic to jar (adjust proportions according to personal taste)
6) let it sit for... a while
7) put on all yo food, mmm

i'm at stage 6 so i don't know if this was a terrible idea yet. i lied, i'm only on numero uno.

"Lying and fiction are, after all, synonymous. A child's imagination and penchant for making up stories are but efforts to reshape the world to make it more interesting and more to our liking - an impulse that often lasts into adulthood... We must all create a world of fiction in which we alone can live. Our world never matches the one inhabited by those with who we are most intimate."
