i just took that picture, and it's completely unaltered - but still doesn't do the sight justice. the sky was radiating hot pink and bright purple - it was unreal. today's been pretty dreary prepping for midterms. i've had to spend a gorgeous day inside writing papers, but then i see colors like that right outside my window and remember where i am.

pps - when baking chocolate chip cookies, i highly recommend replacing the chips with chunks of chocolate bar and the butter with PEANUT butter:

ooo! the first picture is really really pretty. that must've been really something in person.
the second picture is from "mila" in the wikimedia commons. it was taken last year - august 2007 - so not of this recent lunar eclipse but the partial one last summer. hey, still a great shot. i missed the moon eclipse this year. ooof.
and the third picture makes me hungry. i've gotten back into peanut butter recently, but i'll admit that i'm sticking with boring normal creamy skippy for now. nothing special, but.. mmm.
that first picture is absolutely breath taking. london here at night is spectacular in a city way but when i try to take a picture of it, it's so disgusting from the sky pollution.
